epiphany fails looking for gtkmozembed

I installed a binary package of Mozilla 1.4
(mozilla-powerpc-linux-gnu-1.4.tar.gz) in /usr/local/mozilla.  I can run
mozilla just fine but garnome build fails at epiphany package:

checking for mozilla-gtkmozembed... Package mozilla-gtkembed was not found
in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing 'mozilla-gtkmozembed.pc'
No package 'mozilla-gtkmozembed' found.

Do I need to install some other package?  what is the name and where can I
find it?
