The problem is in Gconf: configure goes fine, but when trying to build 
the stuff in the "backends" directory this is the error message

libtool: link: unable to infer tagged configuration
libtool: link: specify a tag with `--tag'
libtool: install: error: relink `libgconfbackend-xml.la' with the above 
command before installing it
make[1]: *** [install-backendLTLIBRARIES] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory 
`/home/giustiniano/garnome-0.27.1/gnome/GConf/work/main.d/GConf-2.4.0.1/backends'
make: *** [install-am] Error 2
I'm using Gargnome to build Gnome 2.4.
