I think people don't know much about DocBook.
Those guys should really follow the links posted by Micheal Hunt (see
above).

Again:

An excellent writing is "Get Going With DocBook: Notes for Hackers"

The problems here (I want to use manpages and not DocBook) should be
solved with

You can read all the stuff in less than 30min, so will take less time
than it took me to read all your non informing postings :)
