We hope to use this in future to make images of the LNX-BBC for PPC
architectures, among others. I feel this is a far more elegant
solution than ifdefing up the Makefiles.
GNU Make lets you do that kind of lazy-evaluation for lvalues as well
as rvalues, so you do get all sorts of opportunities for crazy LISPish
hackery.
Cool. But I don't see anything in GAR that supports an OS, as opposed
to an
architecture. Did I miss something?
