Compile error with version 0.26.1 on debian (sid)

Hi all
Im quite a newbie to this garnome concept, I was unsuccesfull building 
version 0.25.1 so I thought maybe the quirks that I saw was solved in 
the new version. I think they are, but new once rose....

I get this error when compiling:

When trying to install that I got this:
libgnome-desktop-2 is already the newest version.

So I ran ldconfig and make clean in the control center dir and tried 
again. But the same happened.

Anyone who knows what to do?
