In order I discovered them:

1. gst-plugins requires libvorbis-1.0.0 which is beyond what ships with
   Ximian for Mandrake 8.2, had to upgrade manually ... Probably needs
   to be noted in the dependencies list

2. The previously mentioned un-installed gnome-vfs header - upstream bug
   by the looks of things?

3. I can't seem to get a working gst-player (And following on from that
nautilus-media). That may be upstream not you though? Any ideas?
gst-player segfaults (The last message in the console is "trying to get
length") - Upstream problem or does this work fine for you?

4. The checksum for netspeed_applet is wrong - garnome problem

5. nautilus crashes if I select "View as" from the drop-down "Top-right"
   - not sure ...

6. The panel crashes regularly (I have alpha set if that makes a
   difference) - I guess upstream, but not entirely sure ..

Most of these are probably "Not directly your problem" though ...

Background info which may be relevant:

- I still have garnome-0.18.3 installed in $HOME/garnome
- I installed this new build in $HOME/garnome-alpha.
- While I can't see any evident cross-linking or similar this might be
  the cause of some of the above?  If you think the above instabilities
  could be related to the above I'm happy to re-build over my stable
  0.18.3 installation ...
