Hi,

I want to add gitignores to all of the games' modules, to make silly
mistakes like [1] less likely. (I failed to notice the new file in the

Would you prefer a manually-written gitignores, or can I use the git.mk
drop-in that generates them at make time (as I've done for Chess)?
git.mk is super convenient, but it is a drop-in that'll become outdated.
A lot of GNOME projects use it and a lot do not, so I figured I should
ask first.

IIRC all games did use git.mk in the before the rewrites. I guess it
has just been an oversight that some of them did not include it after.
I just checked a few games (five-or-more, swell-foop, quadrapassel,
robots, nibbles) and they all still have it. So yes, please do add it
if some games are missing it.

It might become outdated but we can updated it regularly or at least
when we notice that we are missing useful behavior.
