I have just finished merging the preview-2-13 code into CVS HEAD. Anyone
who is using HEAD can expect some trouble - especially with the high
scores code.
Mines, Same GNOME, Gnometris and Five or More have all switched to using
the new high scores code. Problems that aren't fixed yet:
- In the high scores dialog the order of the names in the category combo
box (e.g. Small, Large, etc.) is scrambled.
- There is no locking of high scores files yet - corruption could occur
in multi-user environments.
- Security: the code to mitigate the risks of being setgid games is no
longer present. If you care about people getting setgid games permissions
don't install it setgid.
Bug reports on all other issues are very welcome.
There are also several new features, not all of which I can remember right
now, including new graphics for Nibbles.
- Callum
