Question regarding gnomine and theme compatibility.

Hi,

I am just wonder is there any document regarding how
to write a theme that can be compatible with gnomine? 

My problem with gnomine is, under certain theme, the
squares is unreadable. This problem will occur once I
use any of the following themes:

1) http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2/691/
2)
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=15963
3)
http://themes.freshmeat.net/projects/g5-ish/?branch_id=43997&release_id=172876

There are more themes that seems to give the same
problem. 

Now, I am not sure if this should be related to the
theme or gnomine itself. But having using the theme
for while, I notice, only gnomine show such problem.
Other applications that I used just works fine. 

Is there some issue that a theme developer should
know, in order to make the theme compatible with
gnomine? Or, is this a bug in gnomine?
