Unfortunately, no. I'm going to make the beta release in two days and
while the TODO list is almost empty I don't want it any longer. I
certainly will look at it for 2.7 though. The best thing to do is to file
the patch as a bug in bugzilla, this makes sure I don't loose it.

I definitely want this patch. Filing it in bugzilla is the best way to
get it to me.
