Reminder: Board of Directors Election

hi,

I'm happy to announce that the GNOME Membership Committee started
to setup the upcoming Board's elections.

This is mostly a reminder mail to let everyone know that:

1. every GNOME Foundation member can propose himself to run for
    the Board of Directors.
2. only GNOME Foundation members with a valid membership (e.g not expired)
    can vote for the Board's elections.
3. if your GNOME Foundation membership is going to expire just before
    the beginning of elections (June) you should make sure to have it renewed
    as soon as possible. (the renew form is available at [1], just check out the
    'Previous GNOME Foundation member' box and fill out all the other details)
4. If you are not a Foundation member yet, but you match the requirements
    to join the Foundation, feel free to apply at [1]

Another mail will follow in the near future with all the needed
informations about
how you can vote, how you can propose yourself as a new Board member,
when the elections
will start / end and all the other timelines.
