If you'd sell your
software and yet wouldn't offer LGPL or GPL licensed copies of the code,
your application wont be free software. But for GTK+ that's fine.
It is legal to use GTK+ in non-free software, if it follows the
requirements of the LGPL.
However, releasing non-free software is never a good thing.
Users deserve freedom.
