I don't really understand what you are saying, but it's not about
waiting for a released product.

It was more a matter of when I was attempting to create the calendar
using Evo 1.5 it crashed a number of times and had some fairly serious
usability problems. All of the problems I found that I could have
reliably filed bugs for have been filed (either by me or other people).
Things may have improved to the point where I could now create an ICS
file without having to donate a kidney, but I have not yet had the time
to try again. This is just the nature of developing software: two weeks
is a long time in this game. :-)
