It's not hard to figure out, unless you're approaching the problem from a
strange direction. It is absolutely your right to talk about your own vote
with anyone, even to the point of publishing it to foundation-list if you
think it's that important. But with a secret ballot, it is also your choice
to do so; it is not a requirement of the voting process.
I don't think "how people use the current system" is a deeply interesting
metric to approach improvement of the voting process. The only thing we need
to ensure is the security and anonimity of votes, and public access to the
voting data for independent analysis.
Publishing ballot choices would be 100% up to the voter him/herself (and
until the last election, this was a common part of the foundation-list runup
process).
