At some point not too long ago we removed all CVS accounts without corresponding
email addresses. That doesn't mean, of course, that all email addresses
we have work, but at least it is a start.

I would agree. If we want to have email aliases for cvs accounts, they
should be specicially for that purpose ... cvs-owen gnome org or whatever.
