That's the slippery slope where in the end, it just makes more sense to have
slates. How do you decide what is 'worthy' of a designated board seat? A
documentation person, a GTK person, an internationalization person,
international representation, a non-hacker, an open-source elder, a person who
doesn't have corporate affiliations, a person who DOES have an affiliation with
a key company? Better to just put together slates that try to offer a balanced
choice.
