Criteria for importing

Hello,

I'm having a problem with F-Spot. Only started happening now,
and I don't recall updating the app...

(0.8.0 on Ubuntu Maverick, by the way)

If I select as import folder the folder that currently holds my
F-Spot pictures, F-Spot wants to re-import everything. Before,
it correctly recognized which pictures were already imported
and ignored those, only offering to import the new ones.

What's the criteria for recognizing which pictures in a directory
are already imported? I thought it was the file path, but a quick
peek at the photos.db revealed that those remain correct...
