Yes!
I've been working with f-spot and my Canon EOS 1000D for about 18 months
without any troubles. This issue came up with 0.8.0 (resp. Ubuntu
Maverick).
I've also tried a clean Maverick install on a virtual machine
(VirtualBox) - same issue.
By the way - if anybody should have a patch for this, I'd really be glad
to know!
