O.K.,

if you follow the link at the bottom and click the green button ("1&1
SmartDrive Gast Zugang"), you will find
- the output of "f-spot --debug"
- a sample cr2 file downloaded from my camera via shotwell and
- a screenshot of the f-spot import window while trying to import images
from my camera.

After starting f-spot --debug from console, I pressed the import icon,
waited until all images were displayed and the aborted the import.
I have also filed a bug at bugzilla [Bug 633972].
