error cropping vertical photos

Hello everyone.
I am using F-Spot 0.6.1.5 on Ubuntu 9.10

I seem to have a probleb with cropping vertical pictures.

When I crop, I loose tho photo and end up with a black screen.

Commandline seems to give something like this:
