importing specific files, using regex or patterns

Dear Folks,

I am using f-spot for the first time with a large collection of family
photos.  I want to exclude the thumbnails matching /-thumb\.jpg$/.  I
don't see how, and google hasn't pointed a way either.  Any ideas
please?
