F-spot crashes when opening preferences

Hello,

After an OS upgrade I'm not able to change the preferences. When I select Preferences from the menu F-Spot crashes. I've tried
to delete the database, remove everything from gconf but F-Spot still crashes. More info can be found in bugzilla:
