Default folder for import

I've configured Preferences -> Import settings -> Folder to use
/home/sezal/Pictures as default folder for import, but when I insert SD card
it still suggest me to import to home folder (/home/sezal) rather than
/home/sezal/Pictures.
What i'm going wrong?
f-spot 0.5.0.3 in ubuntu 9.04
