This reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask for a while. I'm 
on 0.6.1.1

My setup is to use f-spot over three machines. 2 desktops and a laptop. 
On the desktops I 'rsync' my images from one machine to the other, and 
also copy of the photos.db database. I have a basic wrapper shell script 
so that whenever I start f-spot on either machine I don't forget to do 
the rsync and get the photos and databases out of sync.

This is a pretty basic setup but has worked fine for me. I tend to only 
do tagging and adding on one machine anyway.

What I plan to do next is get a portable hard drive for the laptop and 
rsync my photos to that too. What I need to know is any other files I 
need to copy over so that f-spot will know about the tags on the other 
machines? Is it just a question of copying overy .config/f-spot or are 
there other files involved?

On a slightly unrelated note I'd appreciate suggestions on how best to 
format the portable hard drive when it arrives. It's going to hold mp3s 
and jpegs only. I was thinking of formatting it FAT32 so that it could 
be seen by Windows machines but have a feeling that it might not like 
some of my long jpeg filenames.
