Export to picasaweb crashes f-spot

I'm using Debian unstable with the default f-spot-0.4.4 package, and am
able to export images to my web gallery (gallery2 on apache2), but when
I attempt to export to Picasaweb, f-spot immediately crashes,
disappears. Any clues here? Here is the result when run from an xterm:



(f-spot:4071): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: GdkPixbufLoader finalized without
calling gdk_pixbuf_loader_close() - this is not allowed. You must
explicitly end the data stream to the loader before dropping the last
reference.

Can not connect to Picasa. Bad username ? password ? network connection ?
