no icons in F-Spot

Hello,

I use F-Spot 0.4.0 on FreeBSD 7.0. I use fvwm-crystal---which does not
use DBus---as my window manager. So I have to first start DBus and
then say "dbus-launch f-spot" in order that F-Spot runs.

But now I see that after launching F-Spot doesn't show any icons. It
simply shows a generic icon with a cross at every relevant place. Any
ideas how I can cure this? I have gtk icons installed.
