Feature Request - Memory Card Image Deletion

Please correct me if I'm overlooking something, but I tried hard to clear off my camera's memory card this morning, and ended up having to go over to the Mac and re-import 64 pictures, having checked a box in iPhoto to erase while importing. Is this something contemplated for the future in f-spot?  I'd like to be using only Linux at some point, and little points like this end up as deal-breakers for lots of users. Thanks for the great program in any case.
