Any picture tagged with F-Spot will fail to be re-imported

Hello,

first of all, thanks for this great software - I'm having a hard time
without it. Why do I have to do without it? Well, I've lost my .db and
all my pictures won't be re-imported. 

F-Spot errors with "Object reference not set to an instance of an
object".

I've found that re-importing non-tagged pictures works fine, but alas
I've tagged all my pictures...

Would be deeply appreciated if you could help.
