Hi Guys
The extension ChangePath has been released in a Beta version to the
f-spot extension repository. To install it: Edit->Manage Extensions,
Install Add-ins and Refresh. Select addin under Tools-> ChangePath
I have tested this one fairly extensively, but might have missed some
test cases, so I would appreciate some extra test help, and especially
test reports.
I verified the following cases:
Importing (Both Copy, and NOT copy) a number of photos
Modified some of both Copied as well as Linked photos.
Stopped F-Spot.
Moved the Photos directory.
Launched F-Spot, and run my ChangePath extension.
Confirmed in sqlite that all paths had been changed that should
be changed.
IMPORTANT: Make a backup of your photos.db before you try it.
Happy testing
Bengt

---------
UNSTABLE - Please ensure you have a backup of your photos.db before you
test this extension.
This extension will allow you to change the base path to the your
photos.
It is very handy if you move your photos from ~/Photos to /OurPhotos for
instance. Just ensure you let SqLite continue to process the changes for
up to a few hours after f-spot reports finished.
It will only change the path to photos which are located under the Photo
directory.
