edit the glade file with glade-2 and this small workaround...
get the f-spot.glde file
open it in glade-2, do nothing, save.
svn diff f-spot.glade > glade.diff
open f-spot.glade in glade-2, do your modifications, save the file
patch -p0 -R < glade.diff
