Gnome keyring daemon in KDE

Is it possible to export, e.g., to picasweb, when running KDE. Even if I
start gnome-keyring-daemon from terminal, which gives this output,

GNOME_KEYRING_SOCKET=/tmp/keyring-4t80MS/socket
GNOME_KEYRING_PID=6386

I get a message in f-spot 0.3.3 (started after gnome keyring in same
terminal) saying the gnome keyring daemon is not available and then
f-spot shuts down. Same problem on 0.3.0.

The export works fine if I switch session to gnome and run f-spot and
then export.
