Assume the following:

Importing IMG_1000 and IMG_1001 from Camera 1.
Importing IMG_0999 and IMG_1000 from Camera 2.

If these are taken on the same day:

F-Spot will store these as
YYYY/MM/DD/IMG_1000               Camera 1
YYYY/MM/DD/IMG_1001               Camera 1
YYYY/MM/DD/IMG_0999               Camera 2
YYYY/MM/DD/IMG_1000-1             Camera 2

If all of the above photos were taken on different days, the the
YYYY/MM/DD will be different and the original image names will be
unique, and f-spot will not add a "-1" or a "-2" ...
