Black background in F-Spot

Hey all,

I just submitted a short patch and screenshot for making the
background in browse and edit modes be black.  You can find it here:

As I mention in the bug, it would be easy to add this as an option,
but I'd like to discuss if this should be the default.  Should it be
made an option at all.
