Background Color

Hi,
I like black as background color for the images. I think then the
pictures look better.
I tried to change the background color for the imageview (if i found out
it right in source code, it should be an IconView-Widget). Is there a
(easy) possibility to change the background color of that widget???
hope anybody can help me
