There is more work going on for doing better searches using tags. You
can check out the F_SPOT_QUERY branch to get access to this
functionality now. More information at:

Wow. This looks promising. I can't compile the f-spot-query[1], but the
features descibed in the bug sound great. Especially the search field to
type the search strings in.
The perfect way of searching for me is the way muine, banshee, beagle,
etc search. Only one field to type and a lot of fields where the search
is searching in. Filename, Tags, Exif Data (Comment) for example.
I am looking forward to this. :-) I saw in the Goals that it is planned
to merge the query branch. This is great! Thank you. :-)
