At least I am not the only one. :-)
Are there plans or ideas to realize this?
I imagine a "Filter"-field on top of the tag-sidebar, for example. 
Searching for tags by exact match and/or searching by tags where the 
searched string a part of. That would increase the searching and 
selecting of photos very much.

It is almost useless to be able to tag photos quickly without being able 
to search quickly in the same way for them, don't you think?

I would love that. It would make f-spot even better.
