Hello all!
I am trying to compile f-spot from cvs (i want to test the xmp stuff
which as i have understood is only available in CVS) although I am not
much of a hacker. I have read the intructions here:
http://f-spot.org/How_To_Build
i checkout and build with this little script:
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous anoncvs gnome org:/cvs/gnome co -P f-spot
cd f-spot/
make clean
./autogen.sh --prefix=${HOME}/temp/f-spot-unstable
make all
with no problems, and then test run it with:
cd src
./f-spot --uninstalled --basedir /tmp --photodir /tmp
This yields a crash after some windows have opened:

thrown: /home/pontus/temp/f-spot-unstable/lib/f-spot/libfspot.so.0

-----------------------------------
I should mention that I have tried this for the last week a couple of
times in case the cvs-repo was unstable for some days.
Maybe more knowledge to do this is necessary than what i posess.
Is there something i need to install or is there anything obvious that I
do wrong ?
should i file a bug ?
best regards Pontus
