I've got a forward-ported patch from the FlickrSpot branch (sorry, don't
have the url handy) that i hacked in this week at LCA, i'll try to get a
patch to the list or bugzilla real soon.  (unfortunately a lot of people got
food poisoning on the last day, and i'm one of them)
