Ok, perhaps a more general way to adress this is that if it's possible
to have groups of images then the import time field can be tied to
that instead? That way the hoto database isn't cluttered with such
feature specific information but it becomes part of the general
soltion.

My main worry about this specific patch is that if it's included and
actually released then we can in the future get in a situation where
the old behaviour breaks as the future solution isn't backwards
compatible.

OTOH if it's included in CVS only then it can be useful for testing the UI.
