You're right, it doesn't seem to be possible to rename a photo from
within F-Spot.  The basic ability to do this would be very easy to
implement.  Taking it a step farther, it would be awesome if you could
select multiple photos, and if they have matching substrings, you could
edit those across all of them at once.  Bugzilla shows there is a patch
for doing basically this
( http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302566 ) but it seems to use
a dialog box.  Bengt, can we integrate that patch into the existing
filename field (or is it already)?  Also, can we get a single diff/patch
file attached to the bug instead of the zip?  Thanks!
