stack trace in thumbnail section

just got f-spot running on my box (cvs as of today 5/19)

2 issues:

1) when i load my 1700 pics i get:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
in <0x00000> <unknown method>
in (wrapper managed-to-native) Gnome.Thumbnail:gnome_thumbnail_is_valid (intptr,string,intptr)
in <0x00042> Gnome.Thumbnail:IsValid (Gdk.Pixbuf pixbuf, System.String uri, DateTime mtime)
in <0x00064> FSpot.ThumbnailGenerator:ThumbnailIsValid (Gdk.Pixbuf thumbnail, System.Uri uri)

over and over in my console 

2) full screen mode seems to just hang

i'm new to mono/#/gtk# (coming from java) if there is
anything i can do to get more complete stacktraces or
debugging info let me know
