The code to set the exif tag is trivial inside f-spot, I just haven't
taken the time to come up with an UI that I like yet. A lot of people
have been requesting the ability to fix dates though, so it will happen
soon.

I have plans for handling both of these cases. Copy on import will go
in very soon. Prompting for missing media is a little bit farther away
but I plan to do it. I'm not sure if I'll display it in the thumbnail
view though I'll have to think about that.

Have you noticed anything in particular being slow?
