Okay, maybe I'll learn a bit more about C#/Mono and try and construct a patch that fully implements it. > Also, it would be nice to have F-Spot check if the files exist and > display the question mark icon in the thumbnail view (instead of in the > full view) to let the user decide whether to remove it from the library > or keep it (if it's a removable drive). Possibly what would be better is to have an option (enabled by default) where f-spot copies the photos to somewhere sensible (~/Pictures for example) in a sane directory structure (much like iPhoto does). Although good removable media support would also rock. > BTW, I really love F-Spot and use it for my 10000+ collection right > now! :-) I've experimented with my 13000+ collection and have found performance to be acceptable. Things like the dates thing need to be fixed before I can really use it though (things from 2000/2001 showing up like i just took them for instance). This certainly has the promise of being a killer-app though! -- Stewart Smith (stewart flamingspork com) http://www.flamingspork.com/
