I think ctrl+alt+shift+x is too bad, too complicated. If you try to use the
combination, you will also find it is not easy .
Kidd, if A+C+D conflict with desktop accelerator key , could we just abandon
use of 'D'?

I don't think Shift+Ctrl is a good candidate here. As you can see when
you open
the submenu File->New, there are already too many accelerator keys
using it.
If we insist using Shift+Ctrl, I'm afraid the accelerator keys won't
be intuitive.
What do you think, Rodrigo?

Hi,
Enclosed is a patch to fix # 45331. The original proposal picked up
Ctrl+Alt +D/W/K/M as the accelerator keys to switch between the
four views. As far as I know, that may result in conflicts because
Ctrl+Alt +D is used to display the desktop under Redhat Linux.
Therefor we select Ctrl+Shift+Alt+D/W/K/M instead.
ctrl+alt+shift sounds also bad to me :-) Why not use shift+ctrl, like we
do for many keybindings in the mailer?
cheers
