I can update the patch.

just 2 thoughts (I posted these in bugzilla but not on the list
apparently):

1. we need to make sure the pop server will be ok to use after the
broken response.

2. as notzed said, we still need the "disable capa" stuff anyway for
servers that disconnect us when we send CAPA commands period. (weren't a
lot of these reports, but have been a few)
