Hi List,
I've noticed when I check my "local" mail (log reports, cron job
reports, etc.) My CPU usage goes to 50 - 100%. I'm reasonably
sure
it's
something with WebKit due to the fact when I view the usage via
Conky
the one that is showing the Usage of my CPU is WebKitWebProcess.
But
it
seems to do it when I'm checking my "local" mail, if I check and
read
my gmail account it doesn't show that much for my CPU usage. the
System
normally uses around 5 -17%.
Is there a way to get this to calm it's tots?
Which Evolution version, which WebKitGtk version, which
distribution?
Cheers,
andre

Sorry, I forgot the important stuff, I'm on Evolution 3.44.1-2
OS: Debian GNU/Linux bookworm/sid x86_64
Host: MS-7721 9.0
Kernel: 5.17.0-1-rt-amd64
Shell: bash 5.1.16
DE: GNOME 42.1
WM: Mutter
WM Theme: Adwaita
Theme: Adwaita [GTK2/3]
Icons: Adwaita [GTK2/3]
Terminal: kgx
CPU: AMD A6-7400K Radeon R5 2C+4G (2) @ 4.092GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon R5 Graphics
Memory: 2226MiB / 6972MiB
WebKitGTK: 2.36.3-1
And I just noticed a message in my logs that reads:
evolution[4135115]: Error writing selection data: Error writing to

I guess I should be asking how I find and fix that??
