Greetings,
When receiving a meeting invitation (from an MS exchange account),
three checkbox options appear above the buttons for accepting/declining
the invitation:
- [ ] Show time as free
- [ ] Preserve my reminder
- [ ] Inherit reminder
I've read through the documentation on meetings and have done some web
searching, but I still cannot for the life of me figure out what the
difference between the last two options is (_preserve_ vs _inherit_). I
would try it, but these are actual meetings I need remember to attend
and experimenting seems dangerous.
A related issue I've been having is that I can't figure out how to add
my own reminder if the meeting organizer has not set one.
I'm happy to help improve the documentation if I can understand how it
works for myself.
If it matters, I'm on v3.36.5 on Arch Linux running Gnome Shell. I set
up the exchange account via the Gnome "Online Accounts" options.
Regards,
-jos
