Re: [Evolution] Problems with gnome-keyring-daemon when using local and through x2go

Sorry, I had unsubscribed from this list after I found a solution a
while back.

I did try the same command line on the local machine.  It doesn't work.
I even killed and started gnome-keyring-daemon, but no go.

Surely there's some other process that needs to be restarted?

4. This finally solved my problem!
      Hi,
you could keep this under your original thread, thus things would get
more sense and any archive reader might get to some semi-final
resolution easily.

After rebooting the local machine...
I'm sorry to say this, but it looks like a problem on the
gnome-keyring-daemon side, thus you might ask those developers for
help. Evolution(-data-server) just uses it.

Nonetheless, in case you are not connected to the machine both ways at
the same time, instead of restarting the machine, I would just restart
gnome-keyring-daemon with different parameters. Or maybe with the same,
just on the local machine, not inside the x2go/VNC session. You can see
how it was started after restart with `ps ax | grep gnome-keyring`.

Also, I'd expect that once you log out of the remote session the
processes are closed, thus when you log in again, they are auto-started
by D-Bus or systemd or such. I really mean log out, not just
disconnect.

      Bye,
      Milan
