I also have problems trying to get my email from an AT&T server (
ameritech.net / Yahoo?).
The proposed solution "Disable support for all POP3 extensions" works for the titular account not for secondary accounts.
Trying to use the File -> Send/Receive -> "Choose single account" doesn't help either.
