yes, I use EWS for accessing my Exchange calendar.

It is a recurring event, and for one of the recurrences the subject has
changed. Now it exists with the old and with the new subject in
parallel.
Looking at the diff between the two .ics files, there are a few more
differences, though.
This one seems to be one that could be important:
